Commander Joseph Cooper

United States Navy


 A native of Trenton, Mi.  Commander Cooper graduated from Purdue University NROTC in 1995.  He served in Navy positions in both the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets as wells as Iraq in Support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the Naval Reserve.

He served in various afloat leadership positions onboard USS CORMORANT (MHC 57), USS INGRAHAM (FFG 61), USS JARRETT (FFG 33) and Amphibious Squadron One.

Ashore, CDR Cooper served as Executive Officer of USS CONSTITUTION, Student and U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, Operational Test Director at Commander Operational Test and Evaluation Force, and Executive Officer U.S. Navy Support Facility, Diego Garcia.
